About Bajaj Pulsar 150

Bajaj Pulsar 150 is one of the original Pulsar models. It is a superb entry-level performance motorcycle and preferred by everyone from young boys to old men. This naked commuter has been the most popular motorcycle in the 150cc category. It offers an excellent blend of power, features, and fuel efficiency at reasonable pricing.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Price: This bike is now available in two variants: Single Disc and Twin Disc. Furthermore, it is also the highest-selling motorcycle over the last decade. The Pulsar 150 price in Nepal is Rs. 2,99,900 for the single disc variant. Similarly, the TD (Twin Disc) variant costs Rs. 3,18,900.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Design: Bajaj has not modified the Pulsar 150's design in a long time. Meanwhile, the crisp and edgy look from the early 2000s with updated graphics still can attract youngsters. This stylish bike has a bikini fairing with a sloped windscreen and a muscular fuel tank with sharp tank shrouds. The single-piece seat unit is nearly flat and comfortable enough for city riding. The sleek rear section with integrated LED tail lights, beefy exhaust muffler, and alloy wheels are other design elements. Furthermore, the new dual-tone colors actually contribute to its visual attractiveness. It is now available in four different paint schemes: Blue, Black, Red, and White.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Engine: Pulsar 150 is equipped with a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The BS4-compliant carburetor motor can produce 14 PS of peak power at 8,000 RPM and 13.4 Nm of max torque at 6,000 RPM. This high-revving engine and power numbers are good enough to deliver one of the best performances in class. Furthermore, the bike has a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox along with a wet multi-plate clutch.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Mileage: The Bajaj Pulsar 150 even has excellent fuel economy. In practical riding situations, it offers claimed mileage of about 50 Kmpl, which is more than plenty in the category. Additionally, it comes with a bigger tank that can hold 15 liters of fuel.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Dimensions: As for exterior specs, this 150cc motorbike is around 2055 mm long, 755 mm wide, and has a height of around 1115 mm. The ground clearance is 165 mm, which can tackle poor Nepalese roads with ease. The wheelbase of the bike stands at 1320 mm. Thanks to its 785 mm seat height, it is comfortable for both short as well as long riders. When compared to its competitors, the Pulsar 150 is one of the heaviest bikes in its class, weighing 144 kg.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Hardware: Bajaj Pulsar 150 is supported by a twin cradle chassis and standard telescopic forks up front. Similarly, the rear shocks are gas-filled and include a 5-step preload adjustment. The front wheel is equipped with a disc brake as standard, with the choice of a 230mm disc or a 130mm drum brake at the back. Furthermore, the disc brake provides good feedback and the rear brake assists in stopping the bike safely. Meanwhile, it still lacks ABS. The Single Disc variant gets an 80/100 section 17-inch tyre upfront and a 100/90 section 17-inch tyre at the rear. Likewise, the Twin Disc variant gets a 90/90 section 17-inch tyre at the front and a fatter 120/80 section 17-inch tyre at the back.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Features: It has the typical instrument console for the class, such as an analog tachometer with digital speedo, odometer, and dual trip meters. Similarly, clip-on handlebars and premium material seat are other key highlights.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Rivals: Talking of competition, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 competes with the Honda Unicorn 150, TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, and Yamaha FZ V2.
