Taro GP2 200 Design: Taro GP2 200 resembles the design of its elder sibling, GP1 250SR. It gets attractive full-fairing styling and striking body graphics that can attract youths easily. At the front, there is an expanded windshield that pushes away wind above the bike. It also gets LED headlights, providing riders with a better vision of the roads at night. The fairing has strong cuts and folds, while the fuel tank has a muscular aesthetic. Similarly, the sharp rear section comes with an under-seat exhaust system. Taillights and indicators are also LED which, gives this bike a very minimalistic look. Other design elements include angular wing mirrors, clip-on handlebars, and a split seat setup. In addition, it comes in two colors: White and Blue.
Taro GP2 200 Engine: A 198cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder engine powers the all-new GP2. It can deliver 16.76 hp of max power at 8000rpm and 17Nm max torque at 6000rpm. Unfortunately, it lacks Fuel Injection and gets a traditional carburetor motor. On the other note, there is a liquid cooling system that efficiently distributes heat, allowing for reduced vibration and more stable performance. This bike also has a six-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch. Furthermore, it is claimed to reach a top speed of 120 Kmph.
Taro GP2 200 Mileage: The fuel tank capacity is just 10 liters, which can be a little less for long tours. Talking of mileage, the company claims to offer 35 Kmpl in real riding conditions.
Taro GP2 200 Dimensions: In terms of dimensions, Taro GP2 has length, width, and height of 1961 mm, 738 mm, and 1077 mm respectively. The kerb weight is 155 kg while the wheelbase stands at 1313 mm. This motorcycle gets a seat height of 760 mm which is more than enough for riders above 5'3''. However, the 130 mm ground clearance can provide problems on Nepalese roads.
Taro GP2 200 Hardware: Taro GP2 has positive shock absorber upfront and a gas-charged rear mono-shock for suspension duties. The front forks are not upside down and neither have adjustment options. The rear gas-charged mono-shock will not be very pleasant for a pillion, but it will be quite handy for the rider in turns. The braking units look interesting with 300mm dual discs at the front and a 240mm single disc on the rear end. However, this bike still does not get any ABS or CBS which would have enhanced further safety. It also gets 16-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires. The front has a 110/70-section tyre while the rear is 140/70.
Taro GP2 200 Features: GP2 200 is equipped with a fully digital instrument console. This display is very informative and shows speed, trip, RPM count, time, fuel gauge, gear shift light, and other information.
