Yamaha FZ-X Design: Talking about the looks, Yamaha FZ-X gets a Neo-retro styling inspired by the popular XSR series. It is slightly larger and different from regular FZ. The bike comes with a circular bi-functional LED headlamp with a LED DRL ring, a muscular fuel tank, along an all-black exhaust. It also has an offset fuel tank cap and a single-piece tuck-and-roll seat with upright handlebars for extra comfort. Furthermore, the dual-purpose tyres and fork gaiters give the whole design a tough appearance. Additionally, Yamaha FZ-X comes in two color options: Matt Copper and Matte Black.

Yamaha FZ-X Engine: FZ-X is powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, SOHC engine which is based on the FZS V3. As a result, it's not surprising that it produces the same power and torque figures at the same RPMs. It can deliver 12.4 PS of peak power at 7,250 rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Moreover, the FI motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.

Yamaha FZ-X Mileage: The fuel tank capacity is 10 liters and a claimed mileage of 48 kilometers per liter.

Yamaha FZ-X Dimensions: The new FZ-X weighs around 139kg, which makes it heavier than other 150cc FZ models. The seat height is measured at 810mm while the wheelbase is 1330mm. It also has a significant 165mm ground clearance.

Yamaha FZ-X Hardware: The motorcycle sits on a single-downtube chassis. Talking about suspension units, there are telescopic forks up front and a 7-step adjustable monocross at the rear end. The braking duties on the new FZ-X are looked after by the 282mm front disc and 220mm rear disc. Additionally, there is a standard single-channel ABS for added safety. It also gets 17-inches alloy wheels on both ends. As for tyres size, the front is 100/80 whereas the rear is 140/60.  

Yamaha FZ-X Features: Yamaha FZX is equipped with a multi-information negative LCD meter. The all-digital instrument display comes with a speedometer, tachometer, digital clock, fuel levels, and two trip meters.

Yamaha FZ-X Rivals: Talking about the rivals, it does not have direct competition in the segment. However, Yamaha FZ X 150 competes with Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, CFMoto NK 150, Hero Xtreme 160R, Suzuki Gixxer, and TVS Apache RTR 160 BS6.
